Experienced in Professional Sport

Chris Royston is a Chartered Physiotherapist with more than 15 years' experience working in professional sport.
His career includes:
12 years at Bradford City AFC
and
Former Head of Medicine & Performance at Rotherham United FC.
He has also worked as an NHS First Contact Practitioner and lectures at the University of South Wales.
That experience means CR Physiotherapy understands the demands of sport — but the clinic isn't just for professional athletes.
You don't need to be an elite athlete to benefit from a professional approach.
Whether you run a few times a week, play football at the weekend, enjoy the gym, play golf or simply want to stay active, your rehabilitation should be built around your life and your goals.
Sports Injury Physio
Sports injuries can happen suddenly or develop gradually as your training load increases.
Sometimes the injury is obvious — you felt something pull, twist or pop.
Other times, pain develops gradually and starts to affect your training before you realise there's a problem.
Whatever the cause, the goal isn't simply to get you out of pain.
It's to help you restore movement, rebuild strength and confidence, and return to your sport properly.
